The survey shows when it comes to reading, printed books, ebooks and audio books all have users in the school, but the popularity of each kind of book is under change. Audio books see a decreasing popularity among students during the three years, while printed books and audio books are attracting a mounting number of users with printed books become the most popular ones among the students.

　　There are several reasons behind this phenomenon. Firstly, the widespread using of mobile devices such as flat computers, especially smart phones once made reading ebooks a fashion, because they were easy to carry. And ebook stores offered you thousands of choices with relatively low costs. But as time went by, the disadvantages of ebooks surfaced: long-time using of mobile devices did great harm to people’s eyes; moreover, ebooks couldn’t provide the same feeling that printed books could do. As many campaigns aiming to promote reading have been launched by the society in recent years, printed books regain more people’s favor. Audio books just emerge and are stilling gathering users. Rather than “reading”, people can listen to audio books and free their hands. With many other advantages, we have reasons to believe that audio books will enjoy higher popularity in the future.
